Modeling gives her a creative outlet and a sense of career fulfillment . Aside from modeling Christie is an actress, a mother and grandmother. She talks about ups and downs of her life and modeling journey in this Exclusive Interview with Modelz View Magazine :

Where are you from, and how would you describe your life growing up?
My stepdad was in the Army so growing up I traveled a lot. I attended many different schools.
How did you find your way in front of a camera, modeling?
By offering to help a friend with a runway show and then I ended up being in it. The next thing I know that led to photographers contacting me to do photoshoots.
What do you like best about being a model?
It gives me a creative outlet and it gives me a sense of career fulfillment
Besides modeling what is the most important thing in your life? Do you have any unusual talents?
Aside from modeling I’m an actress, but aside from that I’m mother and grandmother. My family is very important
We all need support in life. Where do you get your support? What or who inspires you?
My support comes from my family, my significant other and my friends. They inspire me to continue to work hard to achieve my dreams
What do you think is the most challenging thing about modeling and what advice would you give to new models?
The most challenging thing is to be patient with how long it takes to reach certain goals you have imagined for your career. Also initially rejection and criticism.
My advice to new model is to really do your homework on the types of modeling that is in the industry, find out where you fit in, never take the easy way to get to where you want your career to be because you think it will happen faster, practice posing, network and no matter how many rejections you get to never give up and work hard. You have to develop a tough skin. Just remember that rejection is just one persons opinion of you and no one person has every single look that companies are looking for.
What is your favorite way to relax? What do you do for fun?
I love cooking, playing pool and kayaking with my significant other, as well as visiting with family and friends.
You look amazing. What do you recommend for those wanting to keep in shape?
Thank you. I’m flattered. Start exercising and eating right now. The older we get the harder it is to maintain. Drink plenty of water, have a good skin regimen, use sunblock and exercise.
What would you consider your sexiest, strongest attribute? What do guys compliment you most on?
If we’re talking about looks I’d have to say my face in general. I get compliments on my legs, my eyes and my smile
Anything about your heritage, ethnicity, or nationality that you feel people would like to know?
It is unusual to people that I am so tall when my mother is full Korean and my father is Mexican
Please share something about yourself that may surprise others. What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?
It may surprise others that I was in the Army. I always have people surprised that I’m 44 and now that I’m a grandmother
What are your dreams and goals and ambitions?
My dream and goal is to continually improve in my field, to continue to get work and one day grace the cover of a magazine, to be on billboard’s and land a huge national spot on a commercial, television or movie.
If you were in a magical machine that could transport you to any place and time imaginable, where would you love to be? Why?
I would love to be able to see an array of different eras. The art, the architecture and to experience some parts of history in that time. There’s not one particular place I would want to visit and I would always want to come back home eventually

My guilty pleasure is food. Fantasy…I would say I don’t have a naughty fantasy because I’ve done everything I’ve fantasized about;)

That I’m an extremely adventurous and positive person.

Beauty is ever fleeting to those who can’t see beyond the surface

It’s a great honor to be published. It makes me feel like I’m heading in the right direction when it comes to my goals for my career
